47 yr old Commercial Photographer/Manager of professional photography store -having to start over due to Hurricane Katrina. Normal methods of job hunting are not working.
Please send information as to whether there is anyone who helps people with dyslexia to get a job. He worked for the same store for 18 years. Our intentions were to buy the store, until the Hurricane came. There is no market for Commercial Photographers in the New Orleans area due to the economy and he doesn't do well with the wedding and portrait unless I am there to write everything down. Does the American's with Disabilities Act help with any of this? Can anyone direct me to some type of resources that might help us get him back on his feet? We are literally at our wits end in finding a solution to this situation. He has an Associates Degree from a community college and has worked at the store for 18 years and done freelance off and on for 25 years. Please help!
