I had the same problem. After contacting several agencies in my area I was finally directed to a local university (Dept of Psychology)who did adult testing. In the State I live, the disability is not recogonized by the State unless it is conducted by a PHD specializing in learning disabilities. The tests were spread out thru at 6 week period, and cost $800.00. I was told at the time, the test results are recognized as valid for about 10 years. I was also able to validate this by various college applications and employment screenings.
