With regard to the problems of determining
a) whether your child has homework
b) whether they have copied it down correctly
I suggest that the teachers download the information into a repository or directory on the school website. Relevant worksheets could also be placed here in a subdirectories for the relevant year and subject. Then parents could log in and download with a relevant password. It does need a little bit of work from the school but it can and has been done. If this is too complex an arrangement could be made with the childs teacher to email the homework.
