( I will not spell check this so you can try and read this for your self )

I'm Heather, I am 36 and I suffer from dislexia. I never finished school because know one took the time to figur out what my LD was. Sure they told me I was dislexic at a young age but nothing ever came my way in the form of help. I can't spell, I confuse my left from my right and I have a super hard time doing taskes that require steps. Thats a big problem for me! I also seem to suffer from short term memory but I came up with that one on my one. I can be thinking of something one moment and the next it's gone. My guy can tell me to do something one way and poof I ether wont recall what he said or I do the opiset of what he askes and then arue" I didn't hear you say that." I have never read anywhere other than the forman I found you on about others suffering from short term memory lose.
I need some help! I just feel stupid all the time and let me tell you that dose not bost well for my self worth. I have looked and looked for free classes to help me but have yet to find any let alone for adults.
I found a nitch in music and have worked as a dj for over 10years now and dislexia seems to creep in and cost me accounts because of my inability to coraspond like a normal adult. I found my love about 3 years ago and of course I found the smartest most gifted man ever, whom thinks I just have given up and am confortable being a "failur" um yeah nope. So being as it's real tuff to let someone inside my head to see and fix the problem I still have the problem. It's like time stopped in my head and all I recall is being the troubled kid in class. The teaching system has failed me hard! I relize there are many people who suffer as I do and my heart goes out to evey one who suffers from the "gift" but I really need some help.
I would love to finish scholl or in my case start from k1 and go up, How do I get the help I need? I looked into Ginger software but of course most dislexics use a Mac if they use a computer at all and of course Ginger has not come out with a Mac verson? You think they would have started there right? So if you have any advice or can offer any help I would be forever greatfull. I would love to one day write a book or heck even beable to write someone a letter and not get made fun of for my spelling mistakes. Dislexia sucks big! I have just felt dumb and not up to par my whole life because of my dislexia. Enogh is enough......if I can find some help. I hope this is where you come in! LOL
