It is embarrassing to have dyslexia. People do not understand especially in the workforce. Many times I have been call dumb because I could not spell, or do math. I have not found a supervisor or a family member who understands. I will tell you that I have a masters in mental health counseling and feel have to hide my disability from co-worker and my boss because I have write in charts.
