Somehow I thought my dyslexia was something from the past, like growing up, like I forgot it even existed. Until a started a job with NUMBERS. I made the mistake of letting someone know that "i used to be Dyslexic" and after that averytime a file got lost-it was my fault. Ok 50% was my fault. I look at my work that has numbers like 10 times to make sure I didn't make a mistake.
I had help with my dyslexia growing up. I get my left and right confused too. Sometimes I'm driving somewhere and the street or highway looks familiar but I can't tell which way I should be going. So I used spent a lot time driving up and down the street until I would remember which was was it.
But I have a life saver a GPS.
