I am in gradschool and 27 and have been never diagnosed with dislexia(probally dont even know how to spell it right) but as a kid I'd have some minor issues flipping letters or even whole words. I'd double check upon correction and be ok that time and wrote it off as no big deal. A few times I mentioned it to adults they got mad like I was belitting those "truely" with it. So I stopped bringing it up.

I'm noticing it more now though. I was reading as article online of Kim Kardashian "New Bowling dress" and I kept reading "blowing dress"(didnt make any sense so I came back a few minutes latter, still saw it that way) but finally clicked on it saw my mistake, went back and reread it proper. Now I notice that when it happens even if my wife points it out, it still looks wrong to me while I focus on it untill I come back awhile latter. Is this common to progress into adulthood? Could it help explain my slipping grades? Is it common to happen to BOTH letters and words? I suspect thats why some adults got mad since they claimed it ONLY happened with letters, but I swear to God I sometimes see(for example) what should say "big book" and I'll see "book big". Is it common to do both as well? I am kind of scared and need advice. How bad can it get? What should I do?
