Hello, I have always known i was dyslectic. Diagnosed in 1st grade, i am going to be 36 thirty years latter! all i have ever wanted in my life is to be a entertainer, I got picked for various plays in school and never finished them because i would forget the words or change them around.
I sing karaoke quiet often and i don't think i am the best but i do know i have the ability to be great, now hears my question, i have been approached by many bands to sing with them and i am always so embarrassed because no matter how many times i have heard the song ill forget the words or the sequence of the words (never the melody) are there any tricks to help me remember?
I always save myself by using other words in place of actual words but it is really getting old, I have lived with this so long i know how to improvise but i wish i did not have to, thanks for your time......sweetpink
