Wanting to run but her legs won't allow her, wanting to scream but she can't even speak. She just stood there with her hands to her chest, not moving. The only thing that took motion was her short hair as a cold wind howled by. He pulled the hammer back and everything went in slow motion. She could clearly see his finger pulling back on the trigger and she didn't move. The gun echoes as it clicked and exploded. Mirino's body was lying on the ground with a hole in her head. With her eyes wide looking down the barrel, a tear rolled down past her cheek. Because she couldn't run, because she couldn't scream, and because she just realized she was in love. "I don't want to die... I just figured out what I wanted." She looks down at the wet pavement. "I want Nick." She raises her head and smiles as she wipes her tear away.
