 Nick throws his cigarette out and walks the last block to the housing complex. He slowly walks up the stairs (help him get back in shape) but by the 20th floor he decides the elevator would be best. He makes his way down a plain hallway to a door witha small plaque that says 9B
He gently knocks on the door and stands looking nice and smiling.
as the door opens an older lady stands there and says
"can i help you sir?"
Nick smiles alittle more and says "Hi i was trying to find out if Mirino was home i met her last night at the bar and wanted to get a chance to talk to her.
"No she isn't but she will be home soon, would you like to step in for some tea?"
"Hm... yes i would love some tea its been a long time since i have had the chance to sit and drink tea with anyone"
Nick looks around the very traditional japanese apartment and then sees the table with floor pillows on the ground and slowly takes a seat. The woman disappears into the Kitchen and then returns with a small tradional japanese tea pot and two small cups. She stand and pours tea and sits down across from Nick
"so you met Mirino at work? how did the night go for her?
"well um.... i don't think it went to well at all for her, a small fight broke out, a man got shot, another had a few throwing star but into his chest and she spilt some drinks on my coat" Mirino's mother looks a bit concerned about this
"and well the uniform or well... outfit she had to wear was um... a bit tight and.... bunny like... if you know.. what i mean *coughs playboy!*
The women stands up and begins to shout "They made her wear what!? Those sexist assholes, I can't believe I trusted Yuri
with her job tips. That stuck up bi-"
"she no longer works there though she saw all this and quit on the spot, she seems very independant and strong and i really just came over to ask her to go see a movie or to go to dinner with me..." Smiles and waits for a reaction
Nick thinks to himself god this is not as easy as i thought
