 "Oh, why isn't she home yet? My little girl had such a terrible night. She didn't come home to seek comfort with her loving, understanding, beautiful, and intelligent mother." Fransisca gets lost admiring herself as Nick tries to get her attention.
"Hello Ms. Meritt? Are you ok?"
"Oh yes, no, do I look ok?" She asks confusing herself. There is a knocking at the door. "Wonder who that could be." Fransisca stands up does a little bow, "Excuse me please." Nick watches her open the door revealing Mirino and Hatcher.
Nick grins and says to himself, "This is easier than I thought."
Mirino's mom wraps her arms around her daughter and squeezes her with a wide smile. Hatcher stands there with a blank look on his face. "She has grown up you know..."
"I heard you had a horrible night, are you ok dear?" Mirino tries to say something but she is still being smothered by her mom. "Oh! Sorry, hehe." She lets go of her daughter and points to the man sitting down in the living room. She leans forward and whispers, "He name is nick he came here to ask you to dinner and a movie. I think he's a cutie." Mirino looks over her mother's shoulder expecting her ninja, but seeing her bounty hunter.
"Gah..." is all that comes out.
"Yeah I told you so." Her mother grins.
"He's the..." Her face shrouded in fear. Hatcher looks at his sister then the man, he shrugs then walks over to the table sitting in front of Nick to have a cup of tea.
"So your the one, huh?" He reaches behind him. Nick does the same gripping his gun. Hatcher pulls out a short stubby bottle of rice wine and pours some into the cups. "You'll need this." He quietly watches Fransisca and his sister while drinking his sake.
