I think players not in the Mens squad should be allowed to trial for the Aussie tour.

I think it would have been ideal to have a few of the top players that are "missing" from the mens squad, attending the training camps for worlds. But, I realise that people have other commitments which mean they cannot make the time to do this. Eg babies (they are cultivating the next generation of polo players) jobs/careers.
I say good on them for making a tough descision.

I think it will be a great opportunity for some of the worlds squad men to have to fight for their place in an All star team. I definately think it will assist their "development"

I think its important to provide other men in the country with the opportunity for development at elite level even if they cannot afford the time/money to take part in the mens squad buildup.

I think pretty much most of the women I would like to see are in the womens squads, except for the ones with babies (again! cultivating!) and other commitments.

But, I do think your viewpoint has valid issues. It would be interesting to see some official line from NZCPA
