esp when proposals are no sensical.

If IFC standards are 20minute games then that should be the length that National Leagues should aim for, thats seems fairly logical. Imagine an Olymic competitor for the marathon paces him or herself for 84km. That would definately result in lost potential, but wait I hear you say, Olympic althletes surely train with greater than 42km in order to get fitter for the big event(s). Sure they do, but that is PRACTISE. National Leagues and Nationals are competitions in their own right and not just practise events. Therefore, 40min games may be appropiate for practise but not competition.
