Sierra rolled, and zipped back in front of the doe, staying so low to the ground she could feel the dirt clinging to her fur. As the doe dropped to all fours, Sierra backed up a few steps. Then the deer rocked forward to kick at Elena with her hind legs. Sierra saw her chance, and lunged at the deer's chest and throat with a thrust of her powerful hind legs. She found flesh at the doe's soft throat muscle, and clamped her jaws to lock in. As the doe panicked, Sierra thrashed her head back and forth to try to bring the doe down.
