BIC: Giga leaped to Freeze's side, and walked a few feet with him. She licked his muzzle in greeting. *I was worried,* she whined, her green eyes searching his. Giga then jogged ahead of the male, and stopped, watching the caribou. They were close, now, very close. Giga then turned around and studied Freeze carefully, intently. He had a slight limp.

She wagged her tail a bit, then cocked her head in confusion. Giga padded over to him.

Snow began to fall in large clumps; large, exquisite clumps.

*Where did that limp come from?* Giga asked, troubled. She sniffed Freeze's hurting paw then licked it. The alpha looked over her shoulder at the apprehensive pack, then lowered her voice and asked the dark male, *What happened to you?* Her eyes blazed intently with a comforting, curious glow.
