The black wolf silently walked toward his pack. Seeing the caribou his mouth watered. The wolf whined then stopped. He shifted his body weight to three legs so he could run faster. The forth lay close to his body. It was clear he had been limping quite a ways. Licking his paw he crept closer. His three legged stumble slowly turned into a three legged walk. He knew he was at a total disadvantage for running on three legs, he would be slower and keeping up would be a problem. He winced as he set his paw to the ground and walked in like there was no problem. However every so often he would stumble for his leg would give out. Hunger urged him forward. He stopped by his pack. He shook the new fallen snow off his back as his blue eyes flashed. Mixing in with the black night he watched waiting for Giga to give him instructions.
