Dawn filly entered the territory, threading her way between the trees like a silver shadow. The rain fell more heavily, her pelt shimmered smokey grey.

She made her way higher and higher up the mountain, sides heaving, breathing laboured. Eventually, she collapsed inside a cave. The floor was sandy and dry. She did not know what she was running away from...but something was going to happen.
