Author: Portia
Subject: Portia carried the toddler into the lodge out of the rain- they had been out on the porch while she'd been speaking to her agent but when the heavens opened she thought better of it. With Leo tucked securely under one arm and a diaper bag slung over her shoulder she ended the call as she near enough stumbled in. Her dark hair was plastered to her face by the sudden downpour and the little boy was crying miserably in his snow suit. She looked no where near as at ease and comfortable in this situation as Kier did with his doting neice and newphew. She hadn't seen Kier since she was all of eight years old before they moved out to Italy, and as she dumped all but the infant and tried to sooth his cried she really wasn't interested in whoever else was in the room.
In reply to: Kier 's message, "

Kier looked over, cocking a brow at the woman and the crying toddler. He watched them for a second, the girl seemed vaguely familiar but he just couldn't place her...
