Her relationship with her estranged son wasn;t rock solid but it was getting better- she knew he missed her parents and she had been missing from his life for six months- btu she was struggling hard to make it right for him now- to make up for all her mistakes- and every time he cried it seemed to but her right back to square one. She looked ready to cry herself as she eventually eased the baby out of the snow suit and was able to snuggle him to her chest , having shrugged off her own damp jacket with the other pile of stuff. She lifted the little boy high into the air and bounced him gently but it was to no avail, he just wanted the pacifier that he had dropped in the mud outside. She crouched and routed through the diaper back till she finally put her hand on the spare, breathing a sigh of releif and offering the olive skinned little boy the 'dodi'. As silence resumed she lifted her gaze to glance at the little girl who'd declared that a baby had indeed just disrupted their peace, flashing the man with the baby that looked to be about as old as leo an apologetic smile before her brow furrowed in equal recognition, and she tipped her head curiously as she tried to place him.

  • Maliik cried out, clapping his hands together in excitement at new people. Sometimes he was pretty convinced the kid was on crack of some kind with his outbursts and over abudant energy and good mood. He watched the baby for a second before he looked back up to the girl, smiling a little reasurringly. "Those binky's are amazing things, aren't they?" He called out, shifting to put Maliik on the floor so he could toddle around a little bit. (NT) -- Kier, Sat, Nov 12 2005, 12:21pm PST
