Oh, let's go back to the start.

The young girl was stretched out on a hammock - the sunshine spreading it's warm fingers over her exposed flesh. She was dozing lightly, sporting a tshirt that read Hard Rock Cafe Paris along the front of it - fitted to her torso, a pair of bikini bottoms had been maneuvered around her giant, out of place looking knee immobilizer. She looked like she belonged right on the beach without that - but she hadn't been to the beach in days - weeks, even - and so she had developed a penchant for dozing in the sun, and now was no different. She could forget the pain she felt physically and emotionally if she slept, and so she retreated as often as she could.

She had been busy preparing for her trip, packing bags and organising passports and such like... and she was starting to get pretty excited, of course- that could have something to do with Blake's company out there. Jade had stayed home today, and she had just brought out the rambunctious retriever puppy. It was infact he who disturbed her first, yapping beneath the hammock.
