She'd been hiding out from the world the past few days, unable to face the pain in Ty's eyes, nor the complete feeling that Kai was just so willing to walk away...she'd been staying with her parents and she had finally ventured out here, the baby wrapped up tenderly in her arms - his carrier set off to the side. She settled absently on the porch swing, mumuring to her son. She was seriously contemplating the idea of just taking off on her own, just her and her boy...none of this confusion and hurting people it would all just be a part of her past and she wouldn't have to wonder or be in pain anymore...

It was rare he ventured out this way, but with avoiding the strip and avoiding home and avoiding his family... he wasn't left with much other option. He wandered up the steps , gaze passing over them and hesitating... he couldn't just walk on by. He'd been to see his little girl, Trinity... she was pretty perfect... and he'd made arrangements to see her again... he'd figured he couldn't disappear... he had to take control of his mistakes and his responsibilities. It felt wrong because they were both hiding emotions and feelings that were so strong they were over powering. She let out a soft breath, trailing her fingers down Maliik's jaw before she looked up to Kai, then back down to her son. "Wow...I knew he took more after you but...." He was a little suprised at that and arched a brow, but remained quiet, dipping his head to brush a kiss to his son's head, sighing a little. He wasn't sure how things had gotten so messed up between them, right back from holding her limp body in his arms while she bled out on the strip. Things had seemed set to fail from the start.
