If you think health insurance is free in countries with national health care you might want to ask sciguy who lives in Canada. They pay through the nose for their health care and they have to pay whether yhey want it or not. Somehow you kooky leftists have it in your head that stuff that comes from the government is free!
Here is some more info for you....I'm in AZ in the winter with many Canadians as neighbors. They have little good to say about their national healthcare. And when they are in the US during the winter they have to buy healthcare coverage out of their own pocket while out of Canada. The couple next to me told me that this was their last year to come south for the winter because he was turning 80 years old and the cost to buy insurance for just him would be $5000 for the three months they are in AZ. and they can't afford it. This national healthcare thing falls under the old saying...."Beware of what you wish for, for surely you will get it."
