I guess I'm not sure what you're saying! Money from taxpayers went for GI bill students in colleges for years (and yes, even religious colleges like Boston College, Notre Dame, whatever).

Do you really think that the Constitution forbid any citizen from using "tuition" money any way he chose?

The Constitution does not say that tax dollars can never be used for anything religious. Actually, we can go there another time, but when the Constitution was written, taxes were only for one thing - to defend and protect the Country. Period. Things have changed a great deal since then.

The Constitution says that the government will make no law "respecting the establishment of any religion," (they won't tell you you have to be Baptist), or "prohibiting the free exercise thereof."

Very simply, they said they wouldn't get involved. That didn't mean they didn't recognize the existence of God, it just meant that they woundn't set any laws that tried to force people to follow a state religion.

They never said that they would eliminate all reference to God, or force other people from their belief, or force them to stop from their expression of belief (free speech).

Actually, the founding fathers invoked God's blessing on everythng they did.

Whether people spend school voucher money on religious schools or secular schools, matters not to you or to me. What matters, is whether these kids get a good education. If they're stuck in schools that can not or will not perform, I don't give a damn where they spend their "vouchers." Neither should you.
