Clinton might have been too smart to be where he was. They talk about how much he allowed to happen, but really, he couldn't have gotten legislation passed if it would have brought Christ back!

He allowed the various departments to do their jobs, as they could, although most have become good old boy places filled with exact clones, all making the same mistakes while telling each other what great jobs they are doing.

There is no way 9-11 should have happened with the CIA's and the NSA's budgets. What the heck do these people do? O think it was a good point -- if Walker could get in there, why didn't the CIA or NSA. Also, if walker was told about the terrorists when they say he was, how the heck did we not know.

I don't think Clinton had much regard for the government which was, even then, dominated by red tie republicans in Congress and throughout the agencies. The DoD crawls with them and, like Traficant says, they actually run this country. To be sure, I was surprised that Bush didn't carry a wide majority. Pleasantly, because that tells me there are still people out there who think and who can manage themselves. I'm as annoyed as SG because my first right is the right to be left alone and my second right is to speak for myself. Right now, we have neither one.
