One of the most surprising change when I came to the RJ from the DC9, was the fact that the PPAS was printed in decreasing order of weight. Call me stupid, but usually the pages of a book increase in value.

I know that is is to find the next PPas page as our weight decrease, but when do we actually use this feature for our 15-30 mins cruise....

I spend a lot more time fumbling through the pages to find the right one, then the time I "could" be saving in cruise.

Dont get me wrong, I find our latest PPas to be right on the numbers, and very easy to use. Just that the pages are in the wrong order.

And now the speed book, not bad, but now we can`t use it to put the prelim load in it, since the rings are on the right, and you know about the decreasing weight.....

Ealier I had an occasion to comment about it, before it came out, but our e-mail system would make Bill gates cry...So I wasn`t able to see it.

Well it is not the end of the world, but it is just a little bit annoying. (a little bit annoying x 40 legs a month = this post)

Cheers,

Nick
