Not that he doubted his ability to appeal to her attention more than the rest of her party, but it helped that he was holding on to her shoe. "So birthday girl, what birthday year is it for you?" He figured she was a little younger than he was - she didn't look like a total baby, but there was a bit of a sweet innocence to her that suggested she was still pretty young. Didn't matter too much to him though.

She had considered telling him she was eighteen- but then had the suspicion that he wouldnt really care either way. "How old are you?"She countered, unsure quite how much older than her he was- she guessed a couple of years, though she wasn't really sure.
