She took the drink from her friend and flashed a brief smile at the 'tender - to encourage such generosity for later because she didn't doubt she would be back before long for another - then followed the blonde girl back from the gathering crowd at the bar. They were just trying to pick out a table to sit at for a bit while they worked on their drinks when her gaze landed on him with his little harem. It took her a moment to grasp the sight and she was thankful that Christina was the one chatting away so all she had to do was nod a little, because she was momentarily distracted watching him with the girls. It simply wasn't shaping up to be the best day of her life and even though she knew he had no loyalties to her, she couldn't help but feel a pang of jealously - especially because they had had plans to meet up earlier. Her lips pursed together into a tight line as she forced her gaze back to her friend, and then nodded slightly again before following other girl in the direction of a group of guys and girls - who apparently Christina was familiar with.

He let out a soft breath, nodding at the girl who was talking about something that he was absolutely not interested in. He took his shot and then looked out over the dance floor, not having spotted her yet but not really looking at anything in particular so unless she was right in front of him, chances were he wouldn't notice her. If he hadn't been sleeping earlier he would have remembered their date and he would have been there for it but once he fell asleep his day was pretty much done until a few hours after he woke back up - he tended to forget everything but him waking up. A smile played over his lips as the girl in front of him nearly crawled up the front of his body - sometimes it was good being such a tall man. "I think you had enough drinks, darlin'." He stated softly into her ear when she asked him to buy her another, though his hands moved to her hips to support her in her quest to shimmy up his body.
