Despite the dark look on her features, one brave guy in the group they had joined wasn't worried about being deterred - perhaps motivated by too much alcohol in his system, and so was standing near to her and leaned over so he was chatting in her ear. She didn't really feel like dancing with him as he was suggesting or even really paying too much attention to him until her wandering gaze fell on Colden once more, and then suddenly she was feeling a little bit more interested in paying some attention to the guy who's name she wasn't even too sure of. She glanced over her shoulder at Cole one final time before she allowed the guy to lead her the few steps to a booth that faced the dance floor that the group was standing around - so they could 'sit and have a couple drinks'. They were pretty cozy pretty fast though - one hand around the bottle of her drink resting on the table and her other hand on his leg beneath, her eyes turned to the ceiling as the guy leaned into her - murmuring in her ear and kissing at her neck. It wasn't that she was especially drawn to him - it was just that she wanted very much the full attention of someone who was appreciative.
