Oh now I do recall, we were just getting to the part
Where the shock sets in, and the stomach acid
Finds a new way to make you get sick
I hope you didn't expect that you'd get all of the attention
Now let's not get selfish

Her gaze lowered as she raised her Stella for a long sip and then set the bottle down again so her hand was free to curl up around to the back of the guy's head, twisting into the short strands as he undoubtedly marked up her neck - Cole's own mark having faded away in the couple of days since she had last had any time to spend with him. In that moment, she spotted his approach out of the corner of her gaze, but looked away before direct contact was made. She didn't even want to deal with him right at that time - it was the same old story. He always had company and they were always tramps and she hated seeing it and she hated being so forgiving the moment he turned his attention to her, and mostly she just hated that she was at all affected by it. That wasn't supposed to be what they were about. It didn't help that she had just had a really rough day and part of that had to do with him keeping her waiting when he was supposed to be keeping her company. It was a forgivable mistake under most circumstances, but most likely not on that day.
