Oh now I do recall, we were just getting to the part
Where the shock sets in, and the stomach acid
Finds a new way to make you get sick
I hope you didn't expect that you'd get all of the attention
Now let's not get selfish

She shrugged a little, attempting nonchalance but the soft frown on her features betrayed her true feelings - she wasn't used to making plans either and so she also wasn't used to the terrible feeling of being forgotten or overlooked ever. This only served to reinforce her belief that kids their age were too young to allow emotions to get involved in relationships - yet here she was in the midst of something that suspiciously resembled a 'lover's quarrel'. "Forget it. It doesn't matter." Her frown darkened a little again and she shook her head once more, her jaw tightening and then softening. "Stop saying that - that it's okay for you but not for me." Suddenly she was just very tired with all of this drama and she just wanted to go home, alone, to her warm, soft bed and get in one night of sleep because she had a feeling that when her dad got home from his business trip the next afternoon everything was going to change very quickly without having to worry about him, or how she felt about him, or how things were going to be a week from that day. "I'll see you around, Colden."
