She just watched him sadly at his gentle pleading, and she couldn't bare to do anything but just shake her head a little and quietly repeat what she had said earlier. "I have to go, Cole. I don't want to do this right now." She took the tag from his fingers and stepped back before she just ended up relenting to his wishes. She didn't exactly want to leave mad and she didn't want to completely push him out of everything, but she knew it would just be worse if she gave in and forgave him and let him pay her the sort of attention that he felt she deserved. She could just see that that would end up hurting even more than her following actions of shaking her head and holding a hand flat out to him as she softly declined. "No. Just go find your girls and I'll catch you sometime." It took every ounce of her self-control to refuse him that sweet, tender-hearted offer of his - but she reminded herself of his stubborn arrogance of earlier and the way that he laughed after he sent that other guy packing with his tail between his legs.

He frowned a little his eyes on her as she held up her hand to get him to stay where he was. He wasn't used to being so blatantly shot down and it set his nerves on edge. His eyes stayed on her for a few more moments before he just shook his head. "Fine." He stated, turning on his heel and walking away. His brow furrowed heavily as he made his way back to the bar, ignoring the girls who tried to talk to him. Instead, he just ordered a jack and coke, double on the jack and sat there nursing it, brooding in his aggravated state. He really hadn't meant to forget their date, it wasn't like he had just blown her off and that guy who had gone dracula on her was an ass...he felt fully justified in his actions so could see no wrong in anything he did and yet she had stalked off like he was the biggest asshole in the world.
