"Yeah, sure, Italian is fine." She stated before turned down a sideroad to cut through to one of the free parking lots by the boardwalk. She knew all sorts of secrets like that. Parking the car, she climbed out and then opened the back door for Nani before locking up the car and looking towards him. "There's an Italian place about a block up, they have an outdoor deck so we can eat there and Nani can sit by us." She smiled a little, looking out over the bustling boardwalk. Kids were enjoying their last few precious days of summer and everyone was looked relaxed and fun. Tons of couples were walking around and her eyes narrowed on one particular couple sitting on the wall seperating the boardwalk from the beach. The guy was standing on the boardwalk, the girl sitting, his body positioned between her knee's and he was gazing up at her like she was the sun to his world. A small smile curved her lips and inwardly she congratulated the couple on finding each other. A love like that was rare but she was determined on experiencing it in her lifetime. Shaking her head, she forced her thoughts away from the strangers and turned them back to the men next to her - the man she thought was that kind of love for her. Now, looking back, she felt kind of silly for being with him for three years without any word of the future or love. They had just been so damned comfortable together, good in bed and the best of friends that she had been content with what they had. Settled. She didn't want to settle. A low breath escaped her lips as she started the walk towards the restaraunt, her brow furrowed a little. "Strange how we haven't talked for a year, an entire year, and yet I am not really sure what to say." She smiled, shaking her head ruefully. "If I went five minutes without talking to you before, I swear I could talk for an hour about what happened in those few minutes."
