"Ah, so that's the reasoning for the exhuberant greeting. Bit tipsy?" He grinned teasingly, brushing his hand through her hair before pushing it back behind her ear, his head cocked down to gaze at her more thoroughly. He was more than aware that their friend was standing there, just kind of taking in the scene but he figured Chad may as well get used to the PDA's now if he was going to be spending any sort of time int their company. His hands smoothed over her hips, keeping her close as he grinned at her just a touch. "Obviously I got your message. I don't wander out to the beach in thec old just for shits and giggles." With one careful swoop, he picked her up and headed over towards the bonfire, where they could be warm and semi-social if they chose to be. Of course, he would be pretty much content just staying right there with her alone all night but there was a bunch of a people there and it would probably be best for them to appear a little less eager about getting reacquainted. Though, the more that he thought about it the less he cared if anyone knew they were interested in one another. Really, if people wanted to bitch about his bad reputation they could. The only thing he would be concerned about would be it getting back to her parents and them forbidding her to see him or some junk like that. That would just piss him off. Sure, he had done some crazy things and he would probably do more crazy things in the future but he would never put Jocelyn in jeopardy. Wasn't he the one who had made sure she didn't skip school to much? He could be a good influence too, if he chose too.
