"Good, I think that would make them happy..." He hugged her close for a moment before he finally let her go and urged her to stand up so he could gain his own footing and start off on their rounds to say goodbye, hopefully, he would just stumble across her things as they were walking. He paused a moment to say hello to Kesi, leaning down to kiss her cheek as he ran the back of his fingers over the opposite side of her face. He made soft conversation with her, knowing that she hated the pity that everyone seemed to look at her with. He could feel Jake's protective gaze on the back of his head but he ignored it - knowing he would never change his cousin's concerns or opinions about him. After chatting with her for a few moments, he promised to come see her soon and then went about with the rest of the rounds, trailing behind his own girl with his hand on her whenever he could be touching her. Finally, they located her shoes and he tucked her into her sweater, raising a chastising brow with a smile as zipped her up and then pressed a kiss to her lips. "Said bye to everyone you wanted too?" He questioned softly, holding her close for a brief moment just because he could. A sweet smile played on his lips as he looked down at her, realizing how much he really had missed her while she was gone. It didn't seem like it had been so hard to be away from her until she was here now and he realized just what he had been missing.
