Subject: Typically, as they arrived in place the waves quietened, so he sat up on his board looking out at the wide ocean, sighing to himself- he remembered a time when this was his life- he blew off school, girls, friends- everything for a wave. But he didn;t feel that thrill anymore. It was like he was dead inside- ever since Tori left him- nothing was the same anymore.

  • Watching as a good swell came in, she looked over at him, "Who's going first?" She wanted to have a chance to size up the competition, of course, so she definitely wanted to watch - she always enjoyed being able to snoop on people of her calibre - she even liked watching beginners, just to see - because this was all a part of her. She recognized that he didn't seem as excited when the wave began to come in - her whole body was thrumming with excitement and he looked like a wet duck, bobbing in the water on his board.
