Subject: Watching as a good swell came in, she looked over at him, "Who's going first?" She wanted to have a chance to size up the competition, of course, so she definitely wanted to watch - she always enjoyed being able to snoop on people of her calibre - she even liked watching beginners, just to see - because this was all a part of her. She recognized that he didn't seem as excited when the wave began to come in - her whole body was thrumming with excitement and he looked like a wet duck, bobbing in the water on his board.

  • He had the skill and the style- just not the passion anymore. He glanced over to her before cocking a brow and shrugging his shoulders "Lets be honest- you wanna see what I can do." With that he turned his board around and passled hard towards the shore- the strength in his muscles rippling through his upper body as he pushed and pushed- waiting until he was on the crest of the wave before he pushed himself up to a crouch on his board, , standing up as he dipped into the swell, manipulating and working it to his advantage. The scoreboards would be reading top marks if he wa sin a competiton- which was why he was where and who he was- but it was clear his heart wasn;t in it.
