Most of the time though, she didn't take herself nearly as seriously as everyone else seemed to take her, so she laughed it off and reached out to brush his shoulder with one hand - smoothing the wrinkles she had left in his jacket. "I haven't eaten, and I'm not going to lie to you. I am damn hungry. Why don't you walk over with me and see what we can find? Also, I need to grab another drink." She always downed that first one pretty quickly to get that warm buzz just starting and then nursed the subsequent ones at a more reasonable rate. To confirm her statement, she tipped her bottle upside down to display that there was nothing left in it to dump out, and then offered it to him in hopes that he would dispose of it for her.

  • Colden actually took the bottle from her but it was quickly passed on to Chad with a smirk and a wink before he placed his hand on her lower back and led her over closer to the bonfire where there were some picnic tables pushed together and food spread out across them. "There's hot dogs, cocoa, s'more stuff, marshmellows, I think those are hamburgers over there...some pasta salad and stuff like that...anything sound good?" It all sounded good to him, he would be making himself a full plate in a few minutes but he wanted to get her settled with something to eat before he fixed his own plate.
