"I'm starting to figure that out..." She commented with a slight nod and a slightly more serious smile - she did need to try and tone things down just a little bit at school because if word got back to her parents about the trouble she was getting into, it wouldn't be pretty. She took his offered hand so he could pull her up to stand, and then placed her free fingers flat and firm on his chest for a moment before she slipped both hands into the front pockets of her faded jeans and tipped her head back so she was looking right up at him - especially standing so close it was even further up, but she found she didn't mind so much. It was kind of worth it. Her eyes narrowed a little and her lips pursed as if she was deep in thought on his words. "Are you going to make it worth my while? I like parties." Her tone was just teasing though because as much as she liked socializing, she was more so enjoying getting to know him. He was something of a legend around there, after all.

Pausing a second, he picked up her vest, certain that once they were farther away from the fire she would be wanting it, though he had some plans on how to warm her up pretty quickly. His eyes met Chad's and he saw a hint of warning there - the don't mess with my friend kind - but he shrugged it off and nodded towards the place where he wanted to walk. His arm slung casually around her neck, guiding her in the direction he wanted to go before he spoke again. "So, how'd you get so close to Chadwick over there?" He questioned, smirking a little, he loved ripping on his friend, they were close and that's how boys like them showed their affection - by making fun of each other every chance they got.
