Subject: "You're much more useful after you've been satisfied." She teased him at his offer - earlier he had been yelling at other people to get them drinks and now he was all Mr. Volunteer. She thought it was pretty funny, and pretty typical, but also a little bit endearing. Winking with a small smile, she sent him on his way and then looked back to the fire for just a moment before she sought him out again - watching as he piled up the plate, and then the interaction with the other girl, but then he was making his way back over to her and she thought nothing of it. When he settled back down, she dropped down to sit on the sand with him now, leaning back against the log and draping a hand between his legs as she eyed the pile of food until she decided what she wanted and went for it. "You live with your parents, right?"

"My sister is like..the perfect child you know, so I try and point the attention to her whenever I start getting 'talked' too." He stated with a groan and a playful growl, rolling his eyes a little bit. "What about you, where do you live?" Probably with her 'rents since she hadn't sounded bitter about it when she had been talking about being from Hawaii and all that. Usually if the kids were from divorced or extended families, there was a hint of betrayal or displeasure in their voice but she had sounded ok with her family. "Any siblings?"
