He shrugged a little as if blowing it off but if there was anything that would make him change his ways, it would probably be his mama or even his dad. His dad just got this...hurt look...everytime Colden got in trouble and that was what made him rethink things and apolagize with a heartfelt honesty every damn time. He just...couldn't help doing things over and over again. He got bored, he needed a challange, he desired difficulty in life and hated when things became to routine and to easy. "Yeah, my sister is older than me, she just got married to my parents best friend's son. Weird, kind of like inbreeding in my opinion, but whatever." He smirked, rolling his eyes a little bit before he narrowed his eyes down on her a bit more, shoving a few more bites of food into his mouth. "Tell me about your family."

She reminded him with a small smirk - parents were parents no matter how things went, so if their kids ended up giving them a hard time it was just a part of the deal. At his suggestion of in-breeding, she laughed softly and nodded in agreement, glancing over at him to meet his gaze. "Same sort of weird deal. My mom married her brother's best friend so they're all pretty close." She didn't really know what else to say about her family - the details were tedious and she was pretty sure he didn't want the whole history, so she just trailed off and shrugged a little at him. Her gaze lingered a moment longer before she looked away to try to seek out Chad among the party-goers still present. "I wonder if I should maybe go talk to him.."
