        • He cocked a brow at the sudden ranting that was directed at him, his hands raising in a defensive position as he took a step back. "Whoa, darlin' I didn't ask you what your problem was." He wasn't about to let himself get hit by a girl so he was carefully watching her. "Your a little bit drunk, you know that?" He questioned quietly, shifting to sit down on the curb as he looked up at her. He wanted to be close to make sure she didn't do anything dumb but he wasn't so sure he wanted to babysit an ugly drunk girl either.   • He smirked lightly as he watched her spin away, served her right for getting drunk off of whatever she had gotten drunk off of. Pretty little girl like her shouldn't be out drinking and getting drunk, that was just silly. With a sigh he stood up, following her over there and gently holding back her hair, running his hand in soothing circles over her back as he murmured quietly to her. As soon as she was done he handed her the water bottle he had gotten her that she had left on the ground. "Rinse out your mouth." He instructed, resting her hair back on her back so that she could take a drink and rinse out her mouth, turning his back for a second to give her a second of privacy to regain some of her dignity that had no doubt been lost along with her past few meals. He didn't see how one person could be at fault for a completely seperate person raping someone. Not that he was doubting that her anger was justifide, he just didn't understand. He might not know it, but the fact that he didn't say he was sorry for what happened made it so much easier for her to calm down about the situation. She didn't think she was ready for another person to feel pity for her.) I went to him after it happened and he accused me of making it up to get back at Cam. (She said the man's name as if she had spit it, she had thought both of the men were her friends.. God she had been wrong. The attack hadn't been with drugs or alcohol or any sort of dulling of the senses on her part.. it had been premeditated, predatory and had left her afraid of being touched or loved again.) He left me to heal on my own as if it were all a lie and I had asked for it. (She shook her head, she had bled for hours and sat in the corner of her room until her father had found her and seen her hospitalized before he had stalked Cam down.) Gabe was so busy dealing with his own shit and attitude that most of the time he could be very calloused and uncaring of other people's feelings. He didn't hang out with the guy for a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to about anything serious, he was just a good guy to kick back and sometimes cause some trouble with.
