The attack hadn't been with drugs or alcohol or any sort of dulling of the senses on her part.. it had been premeditated, predatory and had left her afraid of being touched or loved again.) He left me to heal on my own as if it were all a lie and I had asked for it. (She shook her head, she had bled for hours and sat in the corner of her room until her father had found her and seen her hospitalized before he had stalked Cam down.)

Gabe was so busy dealing with his own shit and attitude that most of the time he could be very calloused and uncaring of other people's feelings. He didn't hang out with the guy for a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to about anything serious, he was just a good guy to kick back and sometimes cause some trouble with.
