  • His eyes moved around the place as he sang, his brow furrowed as he didn't see her but then a slight smile crossed his face as he saw her at the bar. Discreetly, he dropped one lid in a wink, before he focused back on the guitar riff he was playing with a fervor. A smile played on his lips - he loved performing, it was what called to him, not the fame, the energy that came from being in front of a group of people that screamed for you - it was an amazing rush even better then any of the drugs he was on at any random time. • (She enjoyed the type of music he sang, and found herself dancing to the beat by the bar, abandoning the remnants of her drink to focus on Deryk. It was amazing and oddly sensual to watch him up there on stage knowing the relationship she had with him. They were just friends at this point.. but she was suddenly wanting more from him.. seeing the rush of adreneline in his eyes and the way people were calling for him made her feel special. He had looked at her, not any of the other girls in this place- any of whom would have dropped at his feet for nothing more than a one night stand.. but he chose to look for her in the crowd and she knew that meant something. When the song ended, she went back to the bar to get another drink and moved over to the other side of the crowd and away from the man who was still trying to get her attention.
