(She had been excited about this night since Deryk had first told her about it, and she had spent all day shopping for the perfect outfit.. since she hadn't been out to a party since college and she had a perfect excuse to go shopping. Her slim body was clad in a pair of hip hugging white cotton pants and she had on a hippie style flowing white camisole that made her look younger than she was and set off her dazzling green eyes. Her auburn curls were captured high atop her head and pinned into place with studded pins and a simple long chain hung down low on her chest with a single diamond drop. She was standing near the bar with a glass in her had, ignoring the attentions of a man beside her who thought she was there alone, but her eyes were all for Deryk.. and she was having the time of her life.)

His eyes moved around the place as he sang, his brow furrowed as he didn't see her but then a slight smile crossed his face as he saw her at the bar. Discreetly, he dropped one lid in a wink, before he focused back on the guitar riff he was playing with a fervor. A smile played on his lips - he loved performing, it was what called to him, not the fame, the energy that came from being in front of a group of people that screamed for you - it was an amazing rush even better then any of the drugs he was on at any random time.
