He cocked a brow, letting out a low a low laugh after he inhaled from the joint again. "Didn't know you were staking a claim for the night, my bad, man." He smirked a little, Gabe might get her tonight but he would be sure to get her another... She laughed at something he said, a low breath escaping her lips as she gazed up at him with a bright smile on her face. Deryk skimmed his lips against her forehead - he was so proud of her for what she had accomplished all on her own - she had been forced to grow up awfully quick and all by herself too. He felt someone looking at him so he turned, gazing over his shoulder till he saw Gabe and cocked a brow. Kelci went back to over to the guy she had been dancing with, allowing him to lead her back onto the dancefloor. He headed back to where he saw Gabe, raising his glass to him. "Not nice to try and kill your friends with dirty looks, Gabe old boy." He grinned lightly, a smile playing on his lips as he looked over to Kelci to make sure she was doing alright.

(He said in a dry tone, getting a couple glances from his friends, who looked back over towards Kelci. He took another drink and lowered the glass to his hip.) And who are you calling old?
