Subject: (It was also rubbing him the wrong way that Deryk knew more about her than he did, and his eyes shifted to the other man for a brief moment before going back to Kelci. He took another drink, his jaw set.. it was nice that Deryk was looking out for her, but it should be him looking out for her- and that realization made him tense.)
