He shrugged his shoulders lightly, he had on jeans also along with a tight black band tee and a black jacket over that, zipped up. "I wasn't made for this kind of weather." If it wasn't for her really, he would have long hit the road, as soon as the leaves started falling from the tree's he would have been gone, back to North Carolina most likely, he liked it there. It had the beaches and the warmth without so much of the touristy feel of Florida or the yuppie, hippie, dirty feel of California. His hand reached out to wrap delicately around her ankle, his eyes drifting over to her for a second. The dark orbs betrayed his thoughts, showing the deep despair he was feeling at the moment. A low breath moved his thin shoulder as he swallowed and looked back over the waves. "I wouldn't call them great." He stated coldly almost, the waves weren't his friend. His jaw set as he looked over at her again, offering a slight smile to even out the harshness of his tone. His gaze moved over her face slowly, quietly, his head cocked to the side as he looked her over for a long moment. "You know your what keeps me here, don't you?"
