• The room they had for her was definately nice - the agency had seen to that, it actually had a couch going along the side and a cot set up since someone of the family had been staying there every night. Zee was holding Reilly on the couch, Brett was sitting in the chair with his head in his hands, staring at his little girl. Dom was trying to distract their youngest child - their little girl Dawn - by coloring with her on the floor and their only son had just left. • Now was not the time nor the place to start anything with Brett, so he just inhaled a soft, slow breath and looked uncomfortable from one person to the next - unsure what he was supposed to say. They were having a party and he had just crashed it, but he didn't care. He had no other choice. • Zee watched her for a second before he smiled a little - he loved how tender hearted his girl was. She was a sweetheart and no one could deny that. He looked over to Brett who stood up, leaning down to press a soft kiss to his baby girls head, Bianca still making no signs of waking up, before he brushed past everyone else and looked at Gavin. "Hall. Now." He had spent so many years in the government that he just commanded attention and never took no for an answer - he just expected immediate obediance. • Reilly made a bit of a face to Gavin at her dad's command that was in an attempt to reassure the distraught man, but then stepped back to let him go before returning to Zee's side, a hand squeezing his thigh gently - he had been so supportive through all this. // He kissed Reilly's forehead softly and then gazed longingly at Bianca for a long moment before reluctantly stepping out into the hall after Brett, hands shoving into his pockets. • Zee ran his hand over her hair softly, drawing her back to his side as he pressed a kiss to her cheek and murmured. "See, he's here in one piece...so far..so you should try and get some more sleep.." She hadn't slept well for the past week, just naps here and there. // Brett shook his head, a frown on his face. "My little girl went into heart failure, son, her kidneys are failing, she hasn't woken up in almost a week now. I had a little bit more on my mind then getting in touch with her...friend? Is that what it is these days?" He shook his head, a low growl escaping his throat. "If.." He frowned, hardening his voice. "When she wakes up, I don't want anything around thats going to upset her." • She sighed softly and shook her head slowly - this was just the beginning. Because Gavin was here, hardly meant that he was safe. She could just imagine all the horrible things that he was saying to Gav out there right now. Even Dom glanced a little worriedly from Reilly to the door - though she wasn't sure that Gavin was the best person to be here, if he felt that he needed to be, she wouldn't send him away. // He frowned in response and shook his own head, running a hand through his hair. "They said that you said you had called me, and you didn't. Reilly would have called if she knew you hadn't. I need to be here." He never stood up to Brett, but this was a whole new situation. • "I didn't want you here." He stated bluntly, honestly. "Did you even hear what I said Gavin? My baby could not wake up from this. She's got bruises all over her body just from lying in the bed." His jaw clenched, his eyes going back to the younger man. "Why would I call you here? So you can come in, check her out and then go out to get your fix? Maybe you could get some drugs for her too, for when she wakes up." He wasn't blind, he knew his girl did some stuff she shouldn't but he was ninety-nine percent positive she didn't go purchase it herself - Gavin got her what she asked for. "You haven't treated her right since you were both seventeen. Your not good for her, you haven't taken care of her like a real man should, you don't look out for her best intrest, why in the hell would I want you around my daughter?" • "This isn't about you, Brett. As hard as that may be for you to grasp - this is about her, and the fact that she needs as many people who love her around her. I have made some mistakes in my life, but I have never compromised her health." He insisted with a deep frown - Brett didn't have a clue and none of this was fair. On the rare occasion that he provided her with something illegal, he did so only at her request. Hell, if it wasn't him buying it - she would be handling the interactions herself. How would that look? A picture in the tabloids of a top fashion model standing in the shadows talking to a shady fellow would attract a hell of a lot more attention than a musician known to use. • "It's about whats best for my daughter and you are not it!" He growled lightly before he took a step back and glanced into the room, noting his wife shaking her head on him. With a disgruntled growl, he spoke again, his voice low. "You better be thankful that my girls have, for some god forsaken reason, a soft spot for you. Otherwise I would dig up so much dirt you'd be in jail till you were forty...with that pretty long hair of yours, I am sure you'd make lots of close friends fast." His eyes sparked with agitation before he went into the bedroom, gathering up his family. • He didn't even respond to that, just shook his head and lingered out in the hall after Brett went in - needing to catch his breath and calm himself down a bit. This was the worst possible situation when all he wanted was to be there for his girl when she woke up. // Dom nodded slowly and shifted to stand slowly, hoisting up Dawn - who was getting too big to be carried - so that she could say goodbye to her big sister. "Grab the bag, please, Brett." Her words were a little terse - she wasn't angry, just disappointed that her husband would insist on making things so complicated. • He waited until the family was gone before he looked to Reilly and then to Gavin who had wandered back in by this time. He frowned softly, more thoughtful then anything before he spoke to Reilly. "How about we go to my place and get some sleep, honey? Gavin will be here in case anything changes..." He had a feeling the man would like some time to deal with his emotions and just figure things out, not to mention be with his girlfriend. His eyes went to Gavin, his eyes on him. • Reilly was standing by Gavin again, her hands soothing his shoulders gently as he dropped down onto a chair by Bianca's bed and linked his fingers carefully into hers. At Zee's suggestion, she nodded a little, absently brushing back the exhausted man's soft blonde strands. "Sure..." // Gavin nodded in slight agreement - he would be here, and they looked like they could use some rest, and he wouldn't mind just being with Bianca for a bit.   • After saying a quiet goodbye to Reilly, he stood infront of Zee, listening to the story with gently furrowed brows. He lowered himself slowly back to the edge of the chair though and ran both hands through his hair, jaw clenched tensely. He should have said something sooner to someone about her dizzy spells and passing out. She had needed help for a long time with her health, and he hadn't said or done anything. Maybe her dad was right - he wasn't the man that she needed in her life... But he wasn't going to walk out on her now. She could send him packing after she woke up, but for now - he would provide as much support as he could. Clearing his throat softly, he nodded a little. "Thanks... Really." • He nodded a touch, squeezing the other mans shoulder for a second before he bit his lip and took a step back. "Brett always comes first thing in the morning around eight, then Dom comes when Dawn gets out of school. Brett goes home and comes back around seven and they all stay till ten." With that he turned, heading towards the door to go get his girl. // Days went by, actually a full week went by without her waking up. They were giving her nutrients through an IV and it was slowly making her stronger, though the she was still bruising to easily and there was a lot of complications with her heart and her kidneys. It was nearly four a.m. but thats when she stirred, shifting and then crying out against the pain of her sore and aching body. She lifted her wrist, wincing at the IV and then freaking out, tugging at it, trying to figure out where she was and what was happening. • He could count on one hand how many times he had left her bedside since he had gotten there - four to shower, and once to satisfy his craving simple because otherwise he was going to go into withdrawal and end up in a bed down the hall - so he naturally he was there when she woke. At her cry, he was startled out of the restless sleep he had been attempting on the couch. It took him only a moment before he realized where he was and what was going on, and then he was at her beside, one hand on her forehead and the other soothing her arm. "Baby, just relax babygirl.. • Her chest was heaving, her freaking out making the heart monitor sound off in first short little beats and then longer ones before it slowed down again as he continued speaking to her. "Get it out." She begged, her voice pleading. "Please, please get it out.." She pleaded, tugging at the iv in her arm again, causing it to rip a little. "I don't want it, I don't.." She shook her head, the tears starting to feel. "Get it out!" • "Hey, hey.." He murmured and pressed the nursecall button before leaning down over her again, gently restraining her just enough that she wasn't doing any damage. "It's alright, baby... Just stay still.." He murmured softly near her ear, thumb gently stroking her arms in an attempt to calm her down. He didn't really know what else to do - he just didn't want her to hurt herself. • She didn't know what to do, she actually wasn't even recognizing who he was at that moment. "I want it out..." She cried softly, shaking her head. At the moment the nurse came in, her eyes widening as she saw Bianca. She quickly called in a doctor who immediatly slipped a sedative into the iv line, making her chill out just because it stole the energy she had to move. The doctor sighed softly, shaking his head as he looked to Gavin and then back to the girl. "Such a waste of beauty...it's going to take years of therapy to rehabilitate her." • Once she had calmed, he pulled up a chair and was sitting beside her now, one hand running up and down her arm slowly and his chin resting in the other. As the doctor spoke, he glanced over at him and then looked back to Bianca with a gentle frown - shaking his head. "She's still beautiful... All she needs is some help, and then she'll be as healthy and happy as she deserves to be." • The doctor nodded, offering him a slight smile. It was nice to see someone so devoted. His daughter listened to this guys band all the time and he had recognized him immediatly as had others, but he had been firm in no one acknowledging who Gavin was. The man needed his privacy. Same as he had been firm in watching out for reporters when B came in. "She can hear you, you know, she's still awake, just heavily sedated so she won't cause any harm to herself. From what we can tell, her body hasn't digested any food in nearly five weeks. She's not going to like that she's being fed against her will, she'll complain that she's getting fat as soon as she is coherant enough to speak." • Somewhere in the back of his mind, he had noticed the lack of reporters and people trying to get some information out of him, but he hadn't thought twice about it - too many other things going through his mind. He was thankful to the hospital for their care and help and so managed a small smile fo the doctor. "Thank you..." Once the other man was gone, he turned back to his Bianca with a low sigh, then just spoke softly to her - telling her anything he could think about, from the weather outside to the closing track on the album. • It took about an hour before she was feeling ok enough to talk. Her eyes fluttered over to him, her voice soft. "You left Johnny, he's going to be lost and sad..." She offered a soft smile, shifting in the bed, letting out a low breath. "What happened? All I remember was being at the mall earlier..and talking to you..." She shifted again, winching. "Why the hell do I hurt so much?" She was getting her thoughts together, her mind clearing up though her body was still so weak she couldn't even lift her hand. She figured that it had to have been a day or two at least, the way he was talking. A soft sigh escaped her lips as he leaned forward to kiss her cheek, her eyes sliding shut for a second. She had missed his kiss, her eyes sliding up to focus on him again. "I missed you being here..." She muttered softly, biting her lip gently before that hurt and she let go. He assured her softly, fingers slipping into hers as he slowly stroked her hand - it was some odd hour in the morning, but her family would start arriving soon and he would get pushed into the background. He just wanted to appreciate this time that he had with her. "I've been waiting for you to come back..." He murmured softly, but didn't answer her 'how long' question - he didn't want to lie to her, but he pretty sure she wouldn't react well to hearing that she had been out for almost exactly two weeks. It had been a long week - dodging Brett and trying to stay out of Dom's way so that she didn't turn on him as well, all the while just trying to be around her.
