Subject: She nodded slowly, thinking about that before she spoke again. "How long is awhile?" She questioned softly, her brow furrowed. She figured that it had to have been a day or two at least, the way he was talking. A soft sigh escaped her lips as he leaned forward to kiss her cheek, her eyes sliding shut for a second. She had missed his kiss, her eyes sliding up to focus on him again. "I missed you being here..." She muttered softly, biting her lip gently before that hurt and she let go.

  • "I missed you, B..." He assured her softly, fingers slipping into hers as he slowly stroked her hand - it was some odd hour in the morning, but her family would start arriving soon and he would get pushed into the background. He just wanted to appreciate this time that he had with her. "I've been waiting for you to come back..." He murmured softly, but didn't answer her 'how long' question - he didn't want to lie to her, but he pretty sure she wouldn't react well to hearing that she had been out for almost exactly two weeks.
