(He frowned, the poor girl.) Hopefully we'll get him then. (He ran his flat palm over her stomach, in a familiar soothing way, pressing a soft kiss to her neck just under her ear.) Do you want to go with Nick? (He might be an asshole but he wasn't heartless. He walked over to the couch and sat down next to her, putting his arm around her shoulder and getting a sideways glance from Quin, who was wondering what the kid's problem was if he was just now going to her side. Gabe made a soft sound and bit his lower lip a little.. he couldn't imagine his Karlie in pain.. he wanted to hurt whoever had done this.) (She was resting peacefully, an IV delivering a counteracting fluid into her body to dilute the drug. Nearly ten minutes later she made a soft sound and her head turned to the side as if it were too heavy for her to hold up. Her hand tightened on his and her heart rate picked up as she panicked a little bit.. she had blacked out and now she was somewhere else and she was confused. )

  - She sighed softly, turning in his arms to hug him tightly,her brow furrowed as she looked up at him, her eyes questioning. "Sleep with me tonight, Quin, please?" She requested softly, her eyes reflecting her need for him. "I am not saying I deserved it, I am just saying I would be able to handle it better." She pursed her lip, looking up at the clock. "I need to go, I have to work..." She just needed something to be normal, to feel like life was going on. Plus, she didn't think she could face seeing Karlie just yet knowing that she could have prevented what happened to her. He just continued murmuring soothingly to her, brushing his hand down her cheek softly, murmuring her name and that it was all going to be ok, that he was there and she was alright now.       - She bit her lip, letting out a soft breath before she patted the couch next to her for Quin, her eyes on him for a brief moment. She just was never sure with him, she never knew when he wanted to be by her and when he didn't and it hurt to know that sometimes, your husband didn't want you anywhere near him. She let out a low breath, nodding a little bit again before she headed down the hallway to catch a cab outside the hospital, it was time to get to work and try and live a normal life. He sighed softly, his eyes in pain for her. "I am sorry honey, you got hurt...Kelci found you and her and Gabe brought you here..." he murmured softly.
